Is there more than one style of resume?

Answered By Ron Erolia

Yes there is more than one style of resume. Actually, there are four resume styles which you can use in writing an effective one. These styles are:

- Traditional Style – this is the most common style of resume. This includes the job title, experiences, member organization, etc.

- Functional Style – in this resume style, instead of including the descriptive phrase for each job title, you group the phrases in order to make a demonstrative skill, function and ability that you know.

- Combination Style – this is the style which uses two or more styles.

- Electronic Style – this is the resume where there is an application of scanning and/or imaging technology and it can be sent using the email.
